Destination by Hyatt Residences Award Terms

These Destination by Hyatt Residences Award Terms are part of the World of Hyatt Terms & Conditions (“Program Terms”) and describe the award types available through the Program at participating Destination by Hyatt Residences properties. These Destination by Hyatt Residences Award Terms address only Program award availability at participating Destination by Hyatt Residences properties; applicability of other aspects of the Program to Destination by Hyatt Residences properties (e.g., point-earning abilities, receipt of Program benefits, etc.) are outside the scope of these Destination by Hyatt Residences Award Terms and remain as set forth in the Program Terms. By participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by the Program Terms, including these Destination by Hyatt Residences Award Terms. Capitalized terms used, but not defined in these Destination by Hyatt Residences Award Terms will have the meaning ascribed to them in the Program Terms. In the event of a conflict between these Destination by Hyatt Residences Award Terms and the rest of the Program Terms, these Destination by Hyatt Residences Award Terms will govern with regard to specific Program award availability at participating Destination by Hyatt Residences properties. Certain items, however, are only addressed in the Program Terms, and, unless directly contradicted in these Destination by Hyatt Residence Award Terms, those provisions remain applicable to Members staying at a Destination by Hyatt Residences property.

World of Hyatt Program Awards Redeemable at Participating Destination by Hyatt Residence Properties

Except as expressly set forth in these Destination by Hyatt Residences Award Terms (or otherwise specified by Hyatt in other terms and conditions applicable to a particular award), no Program award of any kind – whether a stay-based award (i.e., Free Night Awards, Room Upgrade Awards, or Points + Cash Awards), Dining, Spa & More award, or Future Meeting Credit – is redeemable at any Destination by Hyatt Residences property.

(a) Standard-room Free Night Awards

(i) Except as set forth in subsection (ii) below, standard-room Free Night Awards – both those secured through the redemption of points and those earned by qualifying Members as a benefit in the Program or as a part of a related promotional offer from Hyatt – are redeemable for standard-room accommodations at Destination by Hyatt Residences properties (when standard rooms are available at the Standard Rate) in accordance with the generally applicable redemption procedures and requirements for such awards as set forth in the Program Terms and subject to any award-specific limitations (e.g., hotel/resort category restrictions applicable to particular Free Night Awards).

(ii) Notwithstanding subsection (i) above, the Destination by Hyatt Residences properties listed below do not offer standard-room accommodations and are considered Standard-room Award Ineligible Properties for purposes of the Program Terms. No Free Night Award may be redeemed for standard-room accommodations at any such property.

(b) Standard-room Points + Cash Awards

Certain Destination by Hyatt Residences properties may, subject to availability, offer Members the ability to redeem Points + Cash Awards for standard-room accommodations, in accordance with the terms otherwise applicable to redemption of Points + Cash Awards as set forth in the Program Terms. Destination by Hyatt Residences properties that offer Points + Cash Award redemption will indicate as much on the Program Site where such award reservations are available. Members can also find out whether a particular Destination by Hyatt Residences property offers Points + Cash Award redemption by calling the property directly, or by contacting a Hyatt Global Care Center. Certain Destination by Hyatt Residences properties may, subject to availability, offer Members the ability to redeem points for a free night in a Premium Room (“Destination by Hyatt Residence Premium Room Free Night Award”). What constitutes a “Premium Room” is determined by Hyatt and the applicable property (in their sole discretion) and varies property-by-property among Destination by Hyatt Residences locations. A “Premium Room” may include rooms on higher floors, corner rooms, or rooms with more appealing views. Some Destination by Hyatt Residences properties may offer both Premium Room and suite accommodations, in which case a Premium Room is not a suite. The Program Site will indicate where a particular Destination by Hyatt Residences property offers Destination by Hyatt Residence Premium Room Free Night Awards and such awards are available. Members can also find out whether a particular Destination by Hyatt Residences property offers Destination by Hyatt Residence Premium Room Free Night Award redemption by calling the property directly, or by contacting a Hyatt Global Care Center. (d) Suite Free Night Awards

Certain Destination by Hyatt Residences properties may, subject to availability, offer Members the ability to redeem Suite Free Night Awards. Of those Destination by Hyatt Residence properties offering Suite Free Night Awards, some offer only Standard Suites, some only Premium Suites, and some both. “Standard Suites” and “Premium Suites” are as defined in the Program Terms, except that some Destination by Hyatt Residences properties may offer only Premium Suites and, in such cases, “Premium Suites” will mean the property’s introductory suite category or any other accommodations designated by Hyatt and/or the applicable property as being a “Premium Suite” in their sole discretion. Suite Free Night Awards are only valid for the type of suite specified by the applicable award at the time of redemption. Where a Suite Free Night Award does not expressly specify the type of suite for which it is redeemable, the award will be redeemable only for Standard Suites unless Hyatt, in its sole discretion, permits otherwise. (e) Guest of Honor Awards

Guest of Honor Awards may be redeemed with a paid night’s stay or Free Night Award at a Destination by Hyatt Residences Property in accordance with the terms applicable to Guest of Honor Awards generally as set forth in Appendix B of the World of Hyatt Program terms. (Per these Destination by Hyatt Residences Awards Terms, Free Night Awards are redeemably only at certain Destination by Hyatt Residences properties.)
