My FIND experience was cancelled. Will it be rescheduled? If the experience you booked was cancelled and can be rescheduled for a later date, our team will contact you with this information and provide you with the opportunity to reschedule or, if you prefer, a refund. If the experience you redeemed cannot be rescheduled, we will fully refund you based on your payment method by either returning points to your World of Hyatt account or a refund to your credit card. A member of our team will contact you to provide further information.
My FIND experience was cancelled. Will my account be refunded if I paid for the experience with Points? Yes. If the experience you booked was cancelled and cannot be rescheduled or you do not wish to reschedule to a later date, your points will be fully returned to your World of Hyatt account within 5-7 business days of cancelling the experiences. A member of our team will contact you to provide further information.
My FIND experience was cancelled. Will my Credit Card be refunded if I paid for the experience with cash? Yes. If the experience you booked was cancelled and cannot be rescheduled or you do not wish to reschedule to a later date, your Credit Card will be fully refunded within 5-7 business days and a member of our team will contact you to provide further information.
My FIND experience was not cancelled, but I am concerned about my wellbeing and do not wish to attend the experience at this time. What do I do? We are offering flexible cancellations and full points or monetary refunds (based on your payment method) for all FIND experiences through May 31, 2020. However, given the quickly evolving nature of the situation, we will evaluate the need to extend this flexible cancellation period beyond May 31, 2020. Members will be notified directly if their FIND experience is cancelled and they will be given the option to receive a full refund or reschedule for a later date.
We are also offering flexible cancellations and full points or credit card refunds (based on your method of payment) for all experiences through May 31, 2020. However, given the quickly evolving nature of the situation, we will evaluate the need to extend this flexible cancellation period beyond May 31, 2020. Who is FIND available to for purchasing experiences?
Anyone can view FIND experiences, but only World of Hyatt members who sign into their World of Hyatt membership account can transact on the FIND site.
What types of experiences are offered?
FIND experiences are focused on fostering wellbeing, and range from culinary to fitness, exploration to meditation, and more, all centered on helping you be your best.
Is World of Hyatt membership required to book a FIND experience?
Yes, World of Hyatt membership is required to purchase a FIND experience. Membership is easy and rewarding. Click here to join World of Hyatt. You will need to sign in to your World of Hyatt account to transact on the FIND site.
How do I purchase a FIND experience?
FIND experiences can only be purchased online at worldofhyatt.com/FIND.
Where are FIND experiences offered?
FIND experiences may be available at various locations in many countries around the world, including some at Hyatt hotels.
When are FIND experiences offered?
Dates, times and availability vary by each FIND experience. Some are only available on a certain date while others may allow you to select your preferred date and time when you purchase your experience. You can view available experiences by category or location.
Can I redeem World of Hyatt points for a FIND experience?
Yes. World of Hyatt members can redeem World of Hyatt points for experiences. When a member redeems World of Hyatt points for an experience, the corresponding number of points will be automatically deducted from the Member’s account within approximately three (3) days of purchase.
How many World of Hyatt points do I need to redeem for a FIND experience?
The number of World of Hyatt points required will vary for each experience. Please refer to the details of each individual experience.
What are my payment options for FIND experiences?
For experiences within the United States and Mexico, payment options include redemption of World of Hyatt points, any major credit card, PayPal, and wire transfers for amounts over $10,000 USD. For experiences outside of the United States and Mexico, only World of Hyatt points are accepted at this time.
Can I purchase a FIND experience with a combination of World of Hyatt points and a monetary payment?
No. At this time, you cannot purchase an experience with a combination of World of Hyatt points and a monetary payment.
How much does a FIND experience cost?
It varies for each experience. Please refer to the details of each individual experience.
How often are new FIND experiences updated?
Experiences may be updated at any time. We recommend that you book experiences when they are available and check back regularly for new additions.
Is airfare or lodging included in the price of a FIND experience?
Unless otherwise noted in the details of a particular experience, no, airfare and lodging are generally not included in the price of a FIND experience. Only those benefits expressly listed in a particular experience are part of the experience.
Is a Hyatt hotel stay required to book a FIND experience?
No, unless otherwise noted in the details of a particular experience, a stay at a Hyatt hotel is not required.
Can I earn World of Hyatt points for purchasing a FIND experience?
Yes. World of Hyatt members can earn 10 Base Points for every U.S. dollar spent on FIND experiences offered in the United States and Mexico.
Can I earn World of Hyatt points for purchasing a FIND experience outside of the U.S.?
At this time, FIND experiences outside the U.S. and Mexico can only be purchased by redeeming World of Hyatt points. As a result,World of Hyatt members cannot purchase experiences outside the U.S. and Mexico with a monetary payment and thus cannot earn World of Hyatt points for them.
Will the points I earn from a FIND experience purchase be eligible towards earning tier status in World of Hyatt?
Yes. The points earned from a FIND experience purchase are Base Points and count towards earning tier status in World of Hyatt.
Can I earn my tier point bonus for purchasing a FIND experience?
Yes. FIND experiences will be eligible to earn Bonus Points based on your tier status.
How long will it take for World of Hyatt points to show up in my account?
Please allow 4-6 weeks after completion of your experience for World of Hyatt points to be deposited into your World of Hyatt account.
Why didn’t I earn points on the full amount that I paid for an experience?
The purchase price for some experiences includes taxes, gratuities, and service charges, and World of Hyatt points are not awarded for that portion of any purchase price.
Can more than one World of Hyatt member earn points for a World of Hyatt Experience?
Only the World of Hyatt member who purchases the experience will earn points. Points earned from a single purchase cannot be allocated to more than one World of Hyatt member.
Can I sell a FIND experience to someone else?
No, experiences cannot be resold or transferred for value to another person.
Can I gift a FIND experience to someone?
Yes, experiences can be gifted. Please note you may not resell an experience or transfer it for value.
I purchased a FIND experience but didn’t receive my World of Hyatt points. How can I receive World of Hyatt points for my eligible spend?
Please contact World of Hyatt customer service within 365 days of completing your FIND experience toll free at 800.544.9288 in the U.S. or Canada or at 402.593.8615 if outside the U.S. or Canada.
What is the cancellation policy for a FIND experience?
The cancellation policy differs for each experience and, where applicable, is noted in the experience details. Some experience purchases may be non-refundable.
Who is IfOnly?
IfOnly is the third-party merchant platform that powers FIND experiences.
What transaction name will post to my credit card account when purchasing a FIND experience with a credit card?
Purchase of a FIND experience made with a credit card, will be checked out with the Merchant IfOnly. You will see the following description for your purchases:
What transaction name will post to my World of Hyatt account details when earning World of Hyatt points or redeeming World of Hyatt points for a FIND experience?
Point earning and redemptions for a FIND experience will reflect “World of Hyatt Experiences” as the merchant on your World of Hyatt account.
Auctions FAQs:
Is there a minimum bid for each auction? Yes. Each auction will have a minimum number of World of Hyatt points required to make a bid.
Can I bid on an experience with a credit card? No. The only accepted method of payment for auctions is World of Hyatt points.
How can I get more points if I don’t have enough in my World of Hyatt account? Bonus points can be purchased (hyper link to https://storefront.points.com/world-of-hyatt/en-US/buy) in increments of 1,000, up to 55,000 points per calendar year. Please allow 48 hours for the points to be deposited in your account. Points must be in a member’s account to be used for a bid.
Will I be notified if my bid is outbid? Yes. If your bid is outbid, you will be automatically notified through the email associated with your World of Hyatt account. You may increase your bid at any time the auction is open.
Can I cancel my bid once it is placed? No. Once a Member places a bid, it cannot be retracted, modified, or canceled.
Will I be notified if I am the winner? Yes. The winner will receive an email notification to the email associated with his/her World of Hyatt account within 30 minutes of the auction closing.
When will my points be deducted from my account? Your points will not be deducted from your account unless you are deemed the winner of the auction. If you are the winner, immediately following the close of the auction, World of Hyatt will deduct the full amount of points.
How long does an auction stay live for bidding? Each auction experience will clearly state the end date and time of the bidding window. It can be extended under “Popcorn Bidding.”
What is Popcorn Bidding? If a bid is placed during the last 2 minutes of any auction, the scheduled closing time for such auction will automatically be extended for an additional 2 minutes from the time of the last bid. This “popcorn bidding” will continue until all bidding activity has stopped for a period of 2 minutes, at which point the auction will close.
How is the winner determined? The Member with the highest bid at the close of the auction period will be the winner. The winner will be fully responsible for purchasing the item for the number of World of Hyatt points corresponding to his/her winning bid.
Can I cancel my auction experience if I am the winner? No. Once a Member is determined the winner, the experience cannot be retracted, modified, or canceled. If a Member does not use the experience, the experience will be forfeited and the points will not be returned.
Can I participate through my mobile device? Yes. You can bid on auctions through your mobile device.
