These terms and conditions (“H&H Terms”) govern participation in the World of Hyatt program (“Program”) by properties offered as part of the Homes & Hideaways by World of Hyatt (“H&H”) collection, and the benefits available to World of Hyatt Members in connection with Eligible H&H Nights (defined below). These H&H Terms are part of the World of Hyatt Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) that govern the Program. By participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by the Terms, including these H&H Terms.
Capitalized terms used but not defined in these H&H Terms have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms. In the event of a conflict between these H&H Terms and the rest of the Terms, these H&H Terms will govern with regard to H&H properties and any stay at or other interaction with such properties. Certain items, however, are only addressed in the Terms, and, unless directly contradicted in these H&H Terms, the Terms apply to the Members staying at any H&H property.
As used throughout these H&H Terms, the terms “Hyatt,” “our,” “we,” “us,” and other similar terms may refer to one or more of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Hyatt Corporation, Hyatt International Corporation, Select Hotels Group, LLC, and one or more of their direct or indirect subsidiaries or affiliates. These particular terms are used for convenience only and are not intended as a precise designation of any one particular entity. Such terms do not include any third party with which Hyatt works to offer its H&H program or that provides units on H&H.
ELIGIBLE NIGHTS & PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible to earn World of Hyatt points and receive other Program benefits as described in these H&H Terms (“H&H Benefits”) for a night stayed by a Member at an H&H property, the Member must (a) book the stay directly via the H&H website (“Qualifying Booking Channel”); (b) either pay an Eligible Rate (described below) or redeem points for a free night; and (c) associate his or her Program membership number with the reservation at the time of booking. Any such night is referred to in these H&H Terms as an “Eligible H&H Night.” For purposes of these H&H Terms, an “Eligible Rate” means any rate that is published by Hyatt for accommodations at an H&H property bookable through the Qualifying Booking Channel. (“Eligible Rate” includes only charges identified as the property’s periodic (e.g., nightly, weekly) rental rate and does not include any cleaning fees, booking fees, damage fees, security deposit, taxes, or any charge associated with an H&H rental other than the core rental rate itself.) Stays at an H&H property booked through any means or channels other than the Qualifying Booking Channel or paying any rate other than an Eligible Rate (or redemption of points for a free night) are not eligible for participation in the Program and a Member will not receive any Program points or benefit in connection with that stay.
EARNING WORLD OF HYATT POINTS & TIER-QUALIFYING NIGHTS FOR AN ELIGIBLE H&H NIGHT
A Member will earn credit for one (1) Tier-Qualifying Night in the Program for every Eligible H&H Night that the Member stays at an H&H property.
Members will also earn five (5) Base Points for each whole U.S. dollar or U.S. dollar equivalent paid by the Member for an Eligible Rate on an Eligible H&H Night (“Qualifying H&H Spend”). Members will not earn points on any spend in connection with an H&H stay that is not Qualifying H&H Spend. Without limiting the preceding sentence, no charges incurred in connection with any stay at an H&H property will qualify as Eligible Incidental Charges or Eligible Non-Stay Charges for purposes of the Program and meetings or events hosted at an H&H property will not count as a Qualifying Event for purposes of the Program.
A Member must associate his or her Program membership number with the applicable reservation at the time of reservation to receive H&H Benefits in connection with an Eligible H&H Night. Only the Member directly associated with the Qualifying H&H Spend will earn Program credit for such activity. (Where multiple members occupy a single H&H property, only the first Member who is assigned to the reservation and who pays for the Qualifying H&H Spend will receive H&H Benefits.) A Member may earn Tier-Qualifying Night credit and points on Qualifying H&H Spend (s)he pays for a maximum of one (1) H&H property rental on a single calendar night.
Members cannot opt to earn benefits with any third party (such as Partner Loyalty Points with a participating airline or other point substitutes) in lieu of World of Hyatt points as a result of Qualifying H&H Spend.
Members who have obtained elite status in the Program and are thereby entitled to earn Bonus Points on qualifying purchases will earn those bonuses on the Qualifying H&H Spend. Such bonuses will be awarded as Bonus Points. Please allow up to fifteen (15) business days after your qualifying activity for points and Tier-Qualifying Night(s) to be credited to your World of Hyatt account. Members who were not properly credited for any points or Tier-Qualifying Night(s) earned in connection with an Eligible H&H Night may request an adjustment within one (1) year of the checkout date of the applicable booking by contacting a World of Hyatt Global Care Center. (For the purpose of clarity and without limiting any other provision, no stay at an H&H property booked before that property begins participating in the World of Hyatt Program as an H&H property is eligible for H&H Benefits or retroactive credit.) Member must actually check-in and complete the stay for his or her Eligible H&H Night(s) to earn points and receive Tier-Qualifying Night credit. No points will be awarded for any non-refundable prepaid fees, cancellation fees, or no-show fees paid by a Member for a reservation that (s)he did not actually use. In some instances (such as no-shows and late cancellations), points and Tier-Qualifying Night credits may be removed from the Member’s account.
REDEEMING WORLD OF HYATT POINTS FOR NIGHTS AT A AN H&H PROPERTY
Members may redeem points for a night at a participating H&H property through the Qualifying Booking Channel. Information on H&H properties available for point redemption and the number of points required is available through the Qualifying Booking Channel. Points redeemed for a stay at an H&H property will be deducted from the Member’s World of Hyatt account within approximately three (3) days of booking. Members do not earn points when redeeming points. Members cannot combine points and a monetary payment towards a night at an H&H property. Any resort fees or similar mandatory room charges and any taxes charged by a participating H&H property will be waived for nights on which the Member has redeemed World of Hyatt points, unless prohibited by law.
Stays at any H&H property (whether an award or paid stay) are subject to reservation requirements and policies of the applicable property, including security deposits, occupancy limitations, minimum stay durations, and cancellation/no-show policies. Any security deposit required by a property owner or manager may be collected directly by such owner/manager after your initial booking request, outside of the Qualifying Booking Channel. Failure to comply with any such requirement as instructed by the property owner or manager may result in the cancellation of your booking.
Unless expressly permitted by Hyatt, no other award, upgrade, credit, or other World of Hyatt benefit besides points may be redeemed or used in connection with an H&H property. Without limiting the foregoing, the following types of awards are not redeemable: Free Night Awards or Room Upgrade Awards of any kind (whether secured by point redemption or otherwise), any kind of Points + Cash Award, Dining, Spa & More Awards, or Future Meeting Credits.
Notwithstanding anything in the Terms to the contrary, a Member may redeem points to book a night at an H&H property for another person – in which case the provisions of the Terms related to gifting of an award will apply. See Appendix B of the Terms for additional details. No Program benefits will be provided to the recipient of a gifted award. (Without limiting the foregoing, Guest of Honor benefits are not honored at H&H properties.)
NO IN-HOTEL OR OTHER BENEFITS FOR WORLD OF HYATT MEMBERS STAYING AT AN H&H PROPERTY
Except as expressly set forth in these H&H Terms or in separately posted terms and conditions applicable to Members’ Eligible H&H Nights, Members are entitled to no other reward, benefit, right, experience, or other aspect of their World of Hyatt membership and may not redeem any other type of award in connection with any stay at or other activity/engagement with any H&H property. For example, when staying at an H&H property, Members will not receive any In-Hotel Benefits (as defined in the Terms) that the Member may have received for a stay at a Hyatt hotel or resort and stays at H&H properties are not subject to any availability guarantee or relaxed cancellation policy that may otherwise be available to the Member at certain Hyatt hotels and resorts in accordance with the Member’s Program status. Unless otherwise noted in these H&H Terms or in separately posted terms and conditions, no H&H property is considered a “Hyatt hotel or resort” under the Terms or for purposes of Bonus Point earning calculations for Members utilizing their Hyatt-branded Credit Card. In the event that a property previously participating in the World of Hyatt Program under another Hyatt brand is re-branded and becomes part of the H&H collection, the availability of World of Hyatt rewards and benefits will be as specified in these H&H Terms for any stay with a checkout date after the property begins participating in H&H, even if a Member booked his or her reservation while the applicable property was operating under another Hyatt brand.
NOT PART OF HYATT'S BEST RATE GUARANTEE
No stay at an H&H property (whether an Eligible H&H Night or otherwise) is subject to Hyatt’s Best Rate Guarantee.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We may change or discontinue all or any part of the benefits, at any time and without notice, at our discretion as described in the Terms. (This may include, without limitation, complete discontinuance of the H&H program or participation by such properties in the World of Hyatt Program.) As also described in the Terms, we may modify these H&H Terms from time-to-time. Hyatt will notify you of changes to the H&H Terms by posting them on the World of Hyatt site and may also notify you by email or mail to the address then associated with your Program account. The updated H&H Terms will be effective as of the time of posting, or upon such later date as specified by Hyatt. Unless otherwise stated, the updated H&H Terms will apply to your participation in the Program beginning as of their effective date. These H&H Terms may only be modified in accordance with this section.
