Hyatt Care Fund
For more than 60 years, Hyatt has rooted its purpose in caring for people so they can be their best. Today, we remain committed to that and staying grounded in our purpose is more critical than ever.
Our colleagues embody our purpose each and every day: caring for guests, their communities, and each other through interactions large and small.
In 2020, we created the Hyatt Care Fund in an effort to care for colleagues during COVID. Now the Hyatt Care Fund provides support to Hyatt colleagues impacted by a rapid onset disaster such as a major hurricane, earthquake, wildfire or mass-scaled manmade casualty event.
In 2020, the Hyatt Care Fund launched with initial contributions from the Hyatt Hotels Foundation, salary reductions of our Senior Leadership Team, Chairman of the Board and Board of Directors, donations from Pritzker family foundations and donations from some Hyatt hotel owners. Today, the Hyatt Care Fund is funded by donations by Hyatt colleagues and Hyatt.
Want to help?
Contributions to the Hyatt Care Fund will support colleagues who are facing financial hardship due to rapid onset disasters, either natural or manmade. This effort will focus on supporting colleagues with the most pressing financial needs— from rent and utility payments to groceries and medical assistance.
No matter who you have in mind when you decide to give, know your contribution will make a world of difference.
