World of Hyatt Participation
1. How many brands have joined World of Hyatt?
Two additional Lifestyle brands have joined World of Hyatt. The Standard and The StandardX brands have now joined World of Hyatt. Not all The Standard hotels presently participate, and for those hotels that do participate, the dates when each began participating vary, as detailed below.
2. When did each participating hotel within each brand begin participating in World of Hyatt?
These hotels were integrated into World of Hyatt in phases, as set out below. World of Hyatt members who check into a qualifying stay at a participating hotel on or after the date it began participating in World of Hyatt are eligible to earn and enjoy in-hotel benefits. (Any stay at a The Standard or The StandardX hotel before it started participating in World of Hyatt is not eligible to earn World of Hyatt Program credit.) Members may also redeem points on available rewards at these hotels once they begin participating in World of Hyatt.

3. I made a reservation for a stay at a participating hotel at one of these brands with a check-in date after the hotel started to participate in World of Hyatt. How do I earn World of Hyatt points and Tier-Qualifying Night credits for this stay?
To earn World of Hyatt points and Tier-Qualifying Nights once a hotel participates in World of Hyatt, you must:
- Be a member of World of Hyatt, or join prior to your checkout
- Be a registered guest staying at the participating hotel and associate your World of Hyatt membership number with the reservation (when reserving, at the time of check-in, or by requesting retroactive credit). (See below for details on requesting retroactive credit within one year of your eligible stay.)
- Pay an Eligible Rate (see the World of Hyatt terms for details on Eligible Rates)
- Complete your stay
Earning Options
1. Do the brands that have joined World of Hyatt participate in the Brand Explorer Award?
Yes, the brands participate in the Brand Explorer Award. Members can earn towards the Brand Explorer Award for a qualifying stay at a hotel after it began participating in World of Hyatt. Stays at a hotel before it started participating in World of Hyatt will not count for the Brand Explorer Award.
In order for a stay to qualify to earn credit towards a Brand Explorer Award, it must be at a participating hotel and have a checkout date on or after the date that hotel began participating in World of Hyatt. The Member must also have paid an Eligible Rate or redeemed a Free Night Award.
2. Can I earn World of Hyatt points, Tier-Qualifying Night Credit and in-hotel benefits for stays at each of the hotels in these brands before the applicable hotel begins participating in World of Hyatt?
No, no World of Hyatt program credit or benefit of any kind – including, without limitation, points, Tier-Qualifying Night credit, or in-hotel benefits – will be awarded for any stay with a checkout date prior to when a hotel began participating in World of Hyatt.

3. I checked out of a stay at a participating hotel on or after the date the hotel began participating in World of Hyatt but didn’t receive my points or Tier-Qualifying Night Credit. How can I get points for my stay and ensure I get credit toward tier status?
To receive World of Hyatt points for eligible spend on a past stay at a participating hotel with a checkout date on or after the hotel began participating in World of Hyatt, you can contact the Global Care Center at worldofhyatt@hyatt.com or 800.544.9288/402.593.8615 within one year of your checkout date.
4. What happens if I booked a stay at a The Standard or The StandardX hotel through The Standard or The StandardX hotel’s own booking channels prior to that hotel’s integration into World of Hyatt, but where the stay has a check-in date on or after the hotel joined World of Hyatt?
The rate booked will be honored and is eligible for World of Hyatt if the Member associates their World of Hyatt membership number with the reservation. After hotels begin participating in World of Hyatt, World of Hyatt member rates will be available. You can enroll in World of Hyatt here.
Award Options
1. What can I redeem my points for at participating hotels within these brands?
Members can redeem points for Standard Room Free Night Awards at participating hotels within these brands. Standard Suite and Premium Suite Free Night Award options at participating hotels within these brands. (See the World of Hyatt terms for details.)
2. Can I redeem points for dining, spa or incidentals on property at participating outlets at these hotels?
Point redemption for dining, spa, or incidentals is possible at participating restaurants and/or spas at the following hotels after they beginning participating in the program:
- The Standard, Ibiza
- The Standard, London
- The Standard, Maldives
- The Standard, Singapore
- The StandardX, Melbourne
- The Standard, Bangkok
- The StandardX, Bangkok Riverfront
- The Standard, Hua Hin

3. Can I redeem Points + Cash at hotels within these brands?
No.
4. Will these hotels be part of the standard Free Night Award chart (Cat 1-8)?
Participating hotels within these brands are all categorized in the standard Free Night Award chart (Cat 1-8).
5. Where do I find a list of hotels and how many points each requires for a Free Night Award?
Hotel category can be found on the hotel’s page on Hyatt.com or Hyatt app, and in the booking flow.
6. What Milestone Reward options do participating hotels in these brands participate in?
Hotels within these brands that participate in World of Hyatt also participate in Standard Suite Upgrade, Category 1-7 Standard Room Free Night, Ultimate Free Night Award, Guest of Honor, and FIND experiences. See the World of Hyatt terms for details.
