1.    How do I participate in the promotion?
To participate in the promotion, you must:

a.  Be a World of Hyatt member in good standing. To join for free, visit World of Hyatt today.
b. Register for the promotion between May 16, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. CT and July 11, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. CT at hyatt.com/journeyacrosscanada.
c. Starting with your first stay after registration completed between June 1, 2023, and September 6, 2023 (“Promotion Period”), you’ll receive 2,000 Bonus Points for every eligible stay, up to 10 stays, at Hyatt hotels in Canada on stays completed during the Promotion Period. Maximum earning potential is 20,000 Bonus Points.

2.    What are the registration dates for the promotion?
Members may register for the promotion between  between May 16, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. CT and July 11, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. CT.

3.    When do my qualifying nights and stays need to occur to be eligible for the promotion? 
To be eligible for the promotion, you must first register and then complete the night and stay requirements outlined in question 1c above. Only stays after registration and completed during the Promotion Period will qualify. 

4.    How does the promotion work?
Members Members must register for the promotion and then provide their World of Hyatt membership number at the time of check-in. 

2,000 Bonus Points: Starting with your first stay after registration and during the Promotion Period, you will receive 2,000 Bonus Points for every eligible stay, up to 10 stays, at Hyatt hotels and resorts in Canada. A maximum of 20,000 Bonus Points may be earned under this promotion. Eligible stays must be completed during the Promotion Period. 

All members must be registered for the promotion and provide their World of Hyatt membership number at the time of check-in. Members may choose to earn Base Points, miles, or MGM Tier Credits for their stay in accordance with the terms of the World of Hyatt program, but only Bonus Points are awarded under this promotion.

5.   Will qualifying activity before I register count toward the promotion?
No, only qualifying activity following registration and during the Promotion Period will count toward the promotion.

6.   What is an Eligible Stay?
For the purpose of this offer, an Eligible Stay is defined as a stay at a participating hotel where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a Free Night award. Back-to-back nights at the same hotel will be considered one Eligible Stay. A hotel must be participating in World of Hyatt at the time of your stay for it to qualify as an Eligible Stay.  Only Eligible Stays after registration will qualify. Only stays with checkout dates after registration and between June 1 and September 6, 2023, will qualify.

7.   Is there a minimum length of stay requirement?
No, there is no minimum length of stay requirement. However, for the purposes of this promotion and bonus offer, consecutive nights at the same hotel constitute one stay (even if you check out and check back in).

8.   I have registered for the promotion and have a stay on May 31 with a checkout on June 1, 2023. Will the stay count towards the promotion?
Yes, Eligible Stays completed between June 1 and September 6, 2023, will count toward the promotion

9.  I have registered for the promotion and have a stay on September 6 with a checkout on September 7, 2023. Will the night count towards the promotion?
No, only Eligible Nights on stays completed between June 1 and September 6, 2023, will count toward the promotion.

10. If I pay for more than one room during the same stay, will the qualifying activity from each room count toward the promotion?   
No, a member will only receive credit for the qualifying activity for the room the member occupies during the Promotion Period.

11.  Are there any restrictions on the form of payment in order to participate in this promotion?
Eligible methods of payment include cash, Points + Cash, check, or major credit cards or debit/bank cards. Eligible methods of payment exclude, without limitation, hotel “House Accounts,” charges settled by a company or organization, charges billed to a guest room/folio or unit at a Hyatt-branded residence, Hyatt-branded gift cards, Hyatt gift cheques, or property-specific gift card/certificates. 

In order for a member to earn points or tier-night credit, the bill for qualifying charges must be in that member’s name and the member must personally pay for all charges.  If a member’s night is charged back to a Master Account, the night will not be considered qualifying and will not count as an eligible night or be eligible toward earning in the promotion.

12. Will I receive World of Hyatt Base Points for my stay in addition to the Bonus Points?
Yes, as a World of Hyatt member you will earn the standard five (5) Base Points per eligible dollar spent if you choose to earn World of Hyatt Base Points for your stay. Elite members will also earn their tier bonus.

13. Is this offer combinable with other offers?    
Yes, this offer can be combined with other offers unless otherwise specified in the terms and conditions of such other offer.

14. Will new members be automatically registered for this promotion? 
No, all new members must register for the promotion before their stays will count toward the promotion..

15. Is this offer combinable with other offers?
No, this offer cannot be combined with other offers.

16. When will Bonus Points appear in my account?
Please allow two to four weeks after checkout for Bonus Points to be posted to your World of Hyatt account. 

17.  Where can I see how many Bonus Points I have earned for my qualifying activity in this promotion? 
To see how many Bonus Points you have earned, open the app, click on Account and view Past Activity or visit hyatt.com and log in to your World of Hyatt account, click on the Account section and view Past Activity.

18.  How can I use the Bonus Points I earn in this promotion?
Points can be redeemed for rewards like free nights and upgrades, dining and spa services at Hyatt hotels and resorts, nights at participating MGM Resort destinations in Las Vegas, participating Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties, Lindblad expeditions, Miraval award nights and more. 19.  Do Bonus Points earned with this promotion count toward earning elite membership?
