1.    Who is eligible for this offer?

All World of Hyatt members are eligible to participate in this offer. Members must have the total number of points needed to redeem an award in order to book and complete the reservation. Members can also purchase points so they have enough to redeem for an award.

2.    How does the offer work?

World of Hyatt members can redeem points for a Free Night Award and earn 15% of the points they redeem back into their World of Hyatt account as Bonus Points. For example, if a member redeems 10,000 points, they will get 1,500 Bonus Points added back to their account after their points have been redeemed and their stay has been completed.

World of Hyatt and Hyatt Credit Cardmembers can redeem points for a Free Night Award and earn an additional 10% of the points they redeem back into their World of Hyatt account as Bonus Points, on top of the 15% of the points they earn back as a World of Hyatt member. For example, if a cardmember redeems 10,000 points, they will get 1,500 Bonus Points added back to their account for being a member, and an additional 1,000 Bonus Points for being a credit cardmember, for a total of 2,500 Bonus Points added back to their account after their redemption activity has been completed.

Members may earn a maximum 30,000 Bonus Points per transaction under this promotion, except that World of Hyatt and Hyatt Credit Cardmembers can earn an additional 30,000 Bonus Points per transaction (for a total of 60,000 Bonus Points per transaction).

World of Hyatt is offering free parking on all Free Night Award or Points + Cash award nights between July 8, 2020 and February 28, 2021. Plus, Globalists can receive free parking on eligible paid stays through February 28, 2021. Parking is valid at hotels where parking can be charged to the hotel.

To participate, members must register for the promotion between July 8, 2020 and January 15, 2021 and redeem their points for an award between July 8, 2020 and February 28, 2021.

3.    What redemption options are eligible to earn points back?

All redemption options associated with a Hyatt stay are eligible to earn points back.

4.    How do I register for the offer?

World of Hyatt members and World of Hyatt and Hyatt Credit Cardmembers will need to register for the promotion on the appropriate landing page between July 8, 2020 and January 15, 2021.

5.    What are the registration dates for the offer?

World of Hyatt members and World of Hyatt and Hyatt Credit Cardmembers must register for the offer between July 8, 2020 and January 15, 2021.

6.    Once registered, how long is the offer valid for?

World of Hyatt members and World of Hyatt and Hyatt Credit Cardmembers must redeem for an award between July 8, 2020 and February 28, 2021.

7.    If I previously booked a stay using points and my checkout date falls within the promotional time period, will it count?

Yes, as long as the member or cardmember successfully registers for the promotion by January 15, 2021, their redemption stay will count and they will earn Bonus Points back if they check out between July 8, 2020 and February 28, 2021. 

8.    If I complete a stay during the offer dates but before registering for the promotion, will it count?

Yes, as long as the member or cardmember successfully registers for the promotion by January 15, 2021, their redemption stay will count if their check-in and checkout dates fall between July 8, 2020 and February 28, 2021. For example, if a member completes their redemption stay on July 10, 2020 and they don’t register until July 15, 2020, their stay will still count and they will receive 15% of their redeemed points back. World of Hyatt and Hyatt Credit Cardmembers will receive a total of 25% of their redeemed points back. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks after your point redemption has been completed for your Bonus Points to be loaded into your World of Hyatt account.

9.    When will cardmembers receive their points back?

Members will receive their points 6 to 8 weeks after the redemption stay is completed. If the member registers for the promotion after the stay is completed, the points will be deposited in the account 6 to 8 weeks after registering for the promotion.

10. Can I gift/transfer points to another member and will they receive 15% or 25% back?

No, transferred awards are not eligible for this promotion. If an award is transferred, neither the transferring member nor the recipient of the award will receive the 15% or 25% back on the redemption.

11. I did not receive the Bonus Points in my account after redeeming points during the promotion period. What should I do?

Please allow up to 6 to 8 weeks for the points to arrive in your account after your stay has been completed. If the points haven’t been deposited, contact your local Global Contact Center for assistance.

12. If I become a World of Hyatt Credit Cardmember during the promotion, am I eligible for the additional 10% Bonus Points?

New World of Hyatt Credit Cardmembers are able to take advantage of this promotion as long as they sign up and are approved for the World of Hyatt Credit Card, and then register for the promotion by January 15, 2021. The additional 10% Bonus Points will only be applied for redemptions when the cardmember’s redemption stay is completed between July 8, 2020 and February 28, 2021.

13. Is there a limit to the number of Bonus Points back a member or cardmember can receive?

Yes, members may earn a maximum 30,000 Bonus Points per transaction under this promotion, except that World of Hyatt and Hyatt Credit Cardmembers can earn an additional 30,000 Bonus Points per transaction (for a total of 60,000 Bonus Points per transaction).
