Terms & Conditions for Participation in World of Hyatt by UrCove Properties

These terms and conditions (“UrCove Terms”) govern participation in the World of Hyatt program by participating properties operating under the UrCove brand (“UrCove”) and the benefits available to World of Hyatt Members at participating UrCove properties. These UrCove Terms are part of the World of Hyatt Terms & Conditions (“Program Terms”) that govern the World of Hyatt program (“Program”). By participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by the Program Terms, including these UrCove Terms.

Capitalized terms used, but not defined in these UrCove Terms shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Program Terms. In the event of a conflict between these UrCove Terms and the rest of the Program Terms, these UrCove Terms shall govern with regard to UrCove properties’ participation in the Program. Certain items, however, are only addressed in the Program Terms, and, unless directly contradicted in these UrCove Terms, those provisions remain applicable to Members staying at a UrCove property.

The UrCove brand is operated by a joint venture between affiliates of Hyatt and BTG Homeinns Hotels Group (“Homeinns” and such joint venture the “UrCove Joint Venture”). As used throughout these UrCove Terms, the terms “Hyatt,” “our,” “we,” “us,” and other similar terms may refer to one or more of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Hyatt Corporation, Hyatt International Corporation, Select Hotels Group, LLC, and one or more of their direct or indirect subsidiaries or affiliates. These particular terms are used for convenience only and are not intended as a precise designation of any one particular entity. Such terms do not include Homeinns or the UrCove Joint Venture.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

To earn or redeem World of Hyatt points or enjoy any other World of Hyatt benefits at a participating UrCove property (collectively, “UrCove Benefits”), you must be a World of Hyatt Member in good standing and book your stay at a participating UrCove property directly with Hyatt through Hyatt’s website, mobile app, Hyatt WeChat mini app, or call centers (“Hyatt Booking Channels”). (If you book through a Hyatt Booking Channel, but are not a World of Hyatt member, you may enroll in the Program at or before check-in and associate your membership number with the reservation to receive UrCove Benefits.) For purposes of the Program and these UrCove Terms, none of the following will be considered a Hyatt Booking Channel (unless expressly indicated otherwise in writing by Hyatt): any booking made directly with HomeInns, through UrCove or any UrCove property (including by contacting any UrCove call center), Apple Vacations, FunJet Vacations, Travel Impressions, Cheap Caribbean, Beachbound, Southwest Vacations, Blue Sky Tours Hawaii, United Vacations, or any other entity operated by Apple Leisure Group as part of its ALG Vacations business line.

If you book a stay in-person at a participating UrCove property or by contacting the property directly, you may have the opportunity to participate in the Homeinns Program (defined below). However, stays at participating UrCove properties booked through any means or channels other than Hyatt Booking Channels (including direct bookings made through a UrCove property) are not eligible to earn World of Hyatt points, Tier-Qualifying Night credits, or earn/receive any other UrCove Benefits.

If you are a member of Homeinns’ “BTG Homeinns Membership” loyalty program (“Homeinns Program”), you may be eligible to receive benefits or utilize awards from the Homeinns Program when staying at a UrCove property. Please see the Homeinns Program terms for details and eligibility requirements, which may require you to book your stay directly through qualifying Homeinns booking channels (“Homeinns Booking Channels”).

You may not receive or exercise both UrCove Benefits in the World of Hyatt Program and any benefits/awards in the Homeinns Program for the same stay at a UrCove property. Stays at a UrCove property that are booked through any Homeinns Booking Channel or any booking channel other than directly through a Hyatt Booking Channel (all of which are an “Ineligible Rate” for purposes of the Program Terms) are ineligible for UrCove Benefits in the World of Hyatt Program. If you are a member of both the World of Hyatt Program and the Homeinns Program, please consider this requirement before booking your stay.

EARNING WORLD OF HYATT POINTS & TIER-QUALIFYING NIGHTS AT PARTICIPATING URCOVE PROPERTIES

Except as expressly modified by these UrCove Terms, participating UrCove properties will be considered a “Hyatt hotel” for purposes of the Program Terms.

When a Member (i) stays a night at a participating UrCove property; (ii) books the stay through a Hyatt Booking Channel, (iii) either pays an Eligible Rate or redeems a Free Night Award; and (iv) associates their valid World of Hyatt membership number with the reservation (either at the time of the reservation or check-in or retroactively in accordance with the Program Terms) (any an “Eligible UrCove Night”), the Member will earn points in the Program as otherwise described in the Program Terms and will, subject to the Program Terms, also earn credit for one (1) Tier-Qualifying Night for each Eligible UrCove Night completed, subject to the following limitations:

(a) The Member may only earn points in the Program and may not elect to earn benefits with any third party (such as Partner Loyalty Points with a participating airline or other point substitutes) in lieu of World of Hyatt points.

(b) The Member may earn points on their Eligible Rate spend and Eligible Incidental Charges, but no spend at any outlet at a UrCove property will qualify as Eligible Non-Stay Charges. A Member will earn five (5) Base Points for each whole U.S. dollar or U.S. dollar equivalent spent by the Member on Eligible Rate and Eligible Incidental Charges when completing an Eligible UrCove Night. Elite members will also receive their tier point bonuses (as described in Appendix C to the Program Terms) on Base Points earned during an Eligible UrCove Night.

(d) No UrCove property participates in World of Hyatt Program earning opportunities for travel advisors (whether under the Travel Advisor Terms or the Hyatt Privé or Hyatt Leverage programs), and no travel advisor will earn any Tier-Qualifying Night credit or other Program benefit based on any booking at a UrCove property.

Nights stayed at any UrCove property prior to that property joining the Program are not Eligible UrCove Nights. In the event that a UrCove property ceases to participate in the Program, any night stayed at that property following such cessation will not qualify as an Eligible UrCove Night and Program points/awards may not be redeemed at such property after the termination date, even if the applicable reservation was made prior to the termination date. The Member must actually check-in and complete the stay for their reservation at a participating UrCove property to earn points and Tier-Qualifying Night credit in the Program. No points will be awarded for any non-refundable prepaid fees, cancellation fees, or no-show fees paid by a Member for a reservation that they did not actually use. Points awarded for stays at participating UrCove properties outside the U.S. are based on local currency converted to U.S. dollars.

WORLD OF HYATT AWARDS REDEEMABLE AT PARTICIPATING URCOVE PROPERTIES

The following Free Night Awards for standard-room accommodations are redeemable (subject to availability) at participating UrCove properties, all in accordance with the Program Terms:

(a) Standard-Room Free Night Awards

(b) Brand Explorer Free Night Awards

(i) Brand Explorer Free Night Awards may be redeemed at participating UrCove properties that otherwise meet the redemption requirements for these awards. In addition, UrCove is considered a Hyatt brand for purposes of earning a Brand Explorer Free Night Award and stays at any participating UrCove property with a checkout date after such property’s integration into the Program will count towards earning this award.

(i) Free Night Awards designated as redeemable at a Category 1-4 or Category 1-7 hotel or resort and (once they become available) Ultimate Free Night Awards may be redeemed at participating UrCove properties that meet the redemption requirements for the applicable award. Free Night Awards redeemable at a Category 1-4 hotel or resort are those described in Appendix B to the Program Terms and as otherwise provided by the Program or Hyatt (such as anniversary Free Night Awards issued in connection with a Hyatt-branded Credit Card). Free Night Awards redeemable at a Category 1-7 hotel or resort are those described in Appendix B to the Program Terms and as otherwise provided by the Program or Hyatt (such as Category 1-7 Free Night Awards issued in connection with a Hyatt-branded Credit Card). Ultimate Free Night Awards are also as described in Appendix B to the Program Terms.

(d) Standard-Room Points + Cash Awards

(e) Guest of Honor Awards

No other Program award may be redeemed at a participating UrCove property, unless otherwise specified by Hyatt in other terms and conditions applicable to a particular award. Without limiting the foregoing, the following types of award are not redeemable at any UrCove property: any award for suite accommodations or a room with Club lounge access (including Suite Free Night Awards, Club Free Night Awards, any kind of Room Upgrade Award (whether secured by point redemption or otherwise), or Points + Cash Awards for suite accommodations of any kind), Dining, Spa & More Awards, or Future Meeting Credits. Each participating UrCove property is a “Suite Award Ineligible Property” for purposes of the Program Terms.

BENEFITS FOR WORLD OF HYATT MEMBERS STAYING AT PARTICIPATING URCOVE PROPERTIES

In-hotel Benefits are provided only where an elite Member is staying at a participating UrCove property for an Eligible UrCove Night and has associated their membership number with the reservation at or before check-in. Members staying at a UrCove property under a reservation not booked through a Hyatt Booking Channel or that otherwise does not qualify as an Eligible UrCove Night (as defined above) will not receive any UrCove Benefits in association with their stay – including any In-Hotel Benefits. (Please also note that guests who book a stay at a participating UrCove property through Hyatt Booking Channels are not eligible for benefits of the Homeinns Program.)

When an elite Member spends an Eligible UrCove Night at a participating UrCove property, they will receive the In-hotel Benefits available to Members of their tier in the Program as set forth in the Program Terms, subject to the exceptions and limitations set out below:

(a) The “Preferred Room” Discoverist benefit and the “Best Room Available” Explorist and Globalist benefits are not offered at UrCove properties;

(b) Globalists will not receive Club lounge access (but they will receive complimentary full breakfast as described in subsection (V)(d) of Appendix C of the Terms).
